Exness is a group of companies, each licensed in a different place, so the first question is which one would hold your account. South African clients deal with Exness ZA (Pty) Ltd1, a Financial Service Provider (FSP) authorised by the FSCA, FSP number 510241. Kenyan residents are served by Exness (KE) Limited2, which holds a non-dealing online foreign exchange broker licence from the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) of Kenya, licence number 1622. Elsewhere, ask Exness which entity your account sits under before you deposit.

Use the pages below in order: check the rules where you live, then what it costs to start.

Which Exness entity serves you?

The licence that protects you is the licence of the entity your account is opened with, not the best-known licence in the group. These are the entities and licences Exness lists on its regulation page:

How this guide is organised

Each page answers one question. Is it legit where you live? covers the regulator and the law in your country. What it costs to start covers minimum deposits and payment methods. Every figure carries a numbered source and the date we read it; if a figure is not verified yet, the page says so and stays out of search results. Read how we verify broker data for the full method.
