The licence at a glance
How to check it yourself
The Capital Markets Authority publishes its licensees on its website (cma.or.ke). Look for the online foreign exchange brokers list and check that the name Exness (KE) Limited1 and licence number 1621 match. If you were sent to a site that is not exness.ke, ask Exness which entity your account would be opened with.
What the licence does and does not tell you
A non-dealing online forex broker licence is one of the categories in Kenya's online forex rules. It tells you a Kenyan regulator supervises the firm you sign up with. It does not tell you that you will make money, and it does not cap your losses: CFDs are leveraged, and most retail traders lose money on them.
Before your first deposit, check in your Personal Area that the account is held by Exness (KE) Limited1. Licences in other countries are listed on the Exness hub page.
