A forex rebate is part of the commission a broker pays its partner on your trades, paid back to you. Pick a broker, account type and instrument, enter how many lots you trade a day, and the calculator shows the rebate per lot, the monthly and yearly cashback, your 75% share through our rebate program and your net cost per lot.

Partner program: up to 40% of Exness revenue from the client's trades (we approximate revenue as spread + commission). Through our rebate program you receive 75% of what Exness pays us. Rebates are paid on volume whether a trade wins or loses; they do not offset trading losses.

The calculators only do arithmetic; they do not mean any broker is available, licensed or legal where you live.

Forex rebate formula

Spread cost per lot = Spread (pips) × Pip value per lot

Partner rebate per lot = (Spread cost + Commission) × Partner rate %

Your rebate per lot = Partner rebate per lot × 75%

Monthly rebate = Rebate per lot × Lots per day × 22 trading days

Net cost per lot = Spread cost + Commission − Rebate

Brokers pay partners in different ways. Revenue-share programs (Exness up to 40%, Markets4you up to 72%) pay a percentage of what the broker earns on your trades; we approximate that revenue as spread + commission. Other brokers pay a fixed amount per lot that they do not publish, so the calculator lets you enter the rate you are quoted.

Rebates are paid on volume, whether a trade wins or loses. They lower your cost per lot; they do not make a losing strategy profitable. See the rebate terms for each broker on our forex rebates page.

Worked examples

Exness Standard, EUR/USD, 2 lots a day

  1. Spread 1.2 pips × $10 = $12.00, no commission per lot
  2. Partner rebate = $12.00 × 40% = $4.80 per lot
  3. Lots a month = 2 × 22 = 44
  4. Partner rebate a month = 44 × $4.80 = $211.20
  5. Your 75% = $211.20 × 75% = $158.40

About $158.40 a month back; net cost per lot falls from $12.00 to $8.40.

Exness Standard, XAU/USD, 5 lots a day

  1. Spread 3 pips × $10 = $30.00, no commission per lot
  2. Partner rebate = $30.00 × 40% = $12.00 per lot
  3. Lots a month = 5 × 22 = 110
  4. Partner rebate a month = 110 × $12.00 = $1320.00
  5. Your 75% = $1320.00 × 75% = $990.00

About $990.00 a month back; net cost per lot falls from $30.00 to $21.00.

Markets4you Standard, EUR/USD, 1 lot a day

  1. Spread 1.2 pips × $10 = $12.00, no commission per lot
  2. Partner rebate = $12.00 × 72% = $8.64 per lot
  3. Lots a month = 1 × 22 = 22
  4. Partner rebate a month = 22 × $8.64 = $190.08
  5. Your 75% = $190.08 × 75% = $142.56

About $142.56 a month back; net cost per lot falls from $12.00 to $5.52.

Spreads are the illustrative values we use for every broker, not live quotes, and partner rates are the brokers' published maximums ("up to"). The rate a broker actually pays can be lower and depends on account type, country and partner tier.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate a forex rebate?

Multiply the rebate per lot by the lots you trade. For a revenue-share broker the rebate per lot is (spread cost + commission) × the partner rate, then × 75% for your share through us. Example: Exness Standard, EUR/USD, 2 lots a day: Partner rebate = $12.00 × 40% = $4.80 per lot; Your 75% = $211.20 × 75% = $158.40.

What is a good forex rebate per lot?

It depends on what the trade costs you. Compare the rebate with your cost per lot: a rebate that is 30% of a $12.00 cost per lot cuts that cost to $8.40. The net cost per lot (spread + commission − rebate) is the fairest way to compare brokers and account types.

Is a rebate paid on losing trades?

Yes. Rebates are paid on traded volume, win or lose. That is also why trading more just to earn rebates is a bad idea: the spread and commission you pay are larger than the part paid back.

Why do some brokers show no rebate rate?

IC Markets, XM, Vantage Markets do not publish a per-lot or percentage partner rate on the pages we checked. The calculator starts at $0 for them; enter the rate you are quoted to see the result.

How many trading days are in a month?

The calculator uses 22 trading days a month (5 days a week). If you trade fewer days, enter your average lots per day over the whole month instead.
