Published data can tell you what Exness charges, where it is regulated and who it excludes, but it cannot tell you whether the broker is good for you, so this review gives no rating. The facts below cover costs, deposits, regulators by entity and eligibility. Verify each on Exness's own site before depositing.
Exness at a glance
- Standard account: spreads from 0.2 pips, no commission. Source: Exness Standard accounts page.
- Raw Spread account: spreads from 0.0 pips, commission up to $3.50 each side per lot, which is up to $7.00 per lot round turn (our arithmetic: $3.50 x 2). Source: Exness Professional accounts page.
- Zero account: spreads from 0.0 pips, with zero spread on the top 30 instruments (spreads on them may rise above 0 during high volatility) and commission from $0.05 each side per lot. Source: Exness Professional accounts page.
The Zero commission is a "from" figure, so check Exness's fee page for the rate on the instrument you trade. For a fuller account-by-account comparison, see Exness Account Types: Standard, Cent, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero Compared.
Worked example: Standard vs Raw Spread cost
This is an example, not a quoted spread. We use the same hypothetical 0.5 pip spread on EUR/USD for both accounts so that only commission differs. Pip value is $10 per pip per standard lot of 100,000 (see our Pip Calculator).
- Spread cost = 0.5 pips x $10 x 1 lot = $5.00.
- Standard: $5.00 + $0 commission = $5.00 per lot.
- Raw Spread: $5.00 + up to $7.00 commission = up to $12.00 per lot.
- For 3 lots: Standard = $5.00 x 3 = $15.00; Raw Spread = up to $12.00 x 3 = up to $36.00.
Up to $7.00 of commission equals 0.7 pips on EUR/USD ($7.00 / $10). In this simple model, Raw Spread only comes out cheaper if its spread is more than 0.7 pips lower than the Standard spread for the same instrument and time. Compare live spreads in your own platform before deciding.

Swaps are not included above. They vary by instrument, direction and broker, and are shown in the platform's contract specification.
Deposits
Standard and Standard Cent accounts have no fixed minimum initial deposit. The minimum first deposit depends on the payment method and/or your region. Professional accounts (Pro, Raw Spread, Zero) have a region-based minimum initial deposit, and the Help Center says they need a first deposit of at least 200 USD, depending on regional requirements. After the first deposit, the minimum depends only on the payment method. Source: Exness Help Center: Trading account types and What is the minimum amount needed to start trading?. More detail is in Exness Minimum Deposit: Standard vs Pro, Raw Spread and Zero.
Regulation by entity
Exness operates through several entities, and the regulator depends on which one serves you. Per the Exness website footer and BrokerChooser: Exness regulation:
| Entity / regulator | Notes |
|---|---|
| Exness (SC) Ltd, FSA Seychelles | Licence SD025 |
| FSCA (South Africa) | Regulator listed in the footer |
| CBCS (Curaçao) | Regulator listed in the footer |
| FSC (BVI) | Regulator listed in the footer |
| FSC (Mauritius) | Regulator listed in the footer |
| CMA (Kenya) | Regulator listed in the footer |
| Exness (UK) Ltd, FCA | Professional clients only |
| Exness (Cy) Ltd, CySEC | Professional clients only |
Client protections depend on the entity that holds your account. Check which entity and regulator appear in your account agreement and on Exness's site. Readers in South Africa and Kenya should look for the entities regulated by the FSCA (South Africa) and the CMA (Kenya), per the Exness footer. Kenyan residents are directed to a Kenya-dedicated site; see Exness Kenya: Kenya Site, Account Types, Deposit and Trading Costs.
Who cannot open an account
The Exness entities on the global site do not offer services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, Russia and Belarus. The global site does not serve UK or EEA residents, and the FCA and CySEC entities accept professional clients only. Kenyan residents are directed to the Kenya-dedicated site, which Exness says is regulated by the CMA. Source: Exness Standard accounts page. The list says "including", so confirm your country on Exness's site before registering.
Points to weigh
- In favor: published Standard and Raw Spread cost structures, a no-commission option, zero spread on the top 30 instruments on the Zero account (which may rise above 0 in high volatility), and regulators across several regions.
- Against: a Professional-account deposit that is region-based and can be 200 USD or more, commission that can make Raw Spread dearer than Standard at similar spreads, and exclusion of residents in several large markets.
- Unknown from published data: execution quality, withdrawal experience and support. Test with a small amount and check independent, dated user reports.
Rebates on Exness
The Exness partner program pays up to 40% of Exness revenue from your trades, as published by the broker, with daily or instant partner payouts. Blocktechpro passes a share of that back to the trader; the exact share is confirmed at sign-up and is not the full partner rate. Payout timing for partners is not a promise of when a trader is paid. Source: Exness Affiliates.
When opening a new account, Exness's registration form has a field to enter a Partner code, after the email and password. Our code is ccm34k1you; you can open an Exness account through our link. Source: Exness Help Center: Registering an Exness account. Already have an account? Exness support can tell you your partner's account number on request, but the Help Center pages we checked publish no self-service way to change partner, so ask support. See Exness Rebate Guide for how rebates work per lot.
Risk warning
Leveraged forex and CFD trading can lose money quickly, and rebates do not offset trading losses. Terms vary by country and change over time, so confirm them on Exness's official website. Read our risk disclaimer. This article is not financial advice.
