Residents of Kenya are directed to a Kenya-dedicated Exness website, which Exness says is regulated by Kenya's Capital Markets Authority (CMA). On the account side, Standard accounts show spreads from 0.2 pips with no commission, while Raw Spread accounts show spreads from 0.0 pips with commission up to $3.50 each side per lot. Below: who the Kenya site is for, the account types, deposit rules and a worked cost example. Source: Exness Standard accounts page.

Exness in Kenya: what the Kenya-dedicated site means

Exness does not serve every country from its global site. Its entities on that site do not offer services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, Russia and Belarus. Kenyan residents are sent to a separate Kenya-dedicated website instead. Source: Exness Standard accounts page.

Exness lists the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) of Kenya among its regulators, and says its Kenya-dedicated website is CMA-regulated. It also lists other regulators for other entities, such as the FSA (Seychelles, Exness (SC) Ltd, licence SD025), the FSCA (South Africa), the CBCS (Curaçao), the FSC (BVI) and the FSC (Mauritius). Those belong to other entities, so do not assume that one entity's licence covers another. Source: Exness website footer.

Spreads are quoted from a minimum, and commission on Zero starts at a minimum too. Neither is a promise for every pair or time of day. Look at the live spread in your MT4, MT5 or cTrader platform for the instrument you trade.

Deposit rules for Kenyan traders

  • Standard and Standard Cent: no fixed minimum initial deposit. The minimum first deposit depends on the payment method and/or your region.
  • Professional accounts (Pro, Raw Spread, Zero): a region-based minimum initial deposit. The Help Center says at least 200 USD, depending on regional requirements.
  • After the first deposit: the minimum depends only on the payment method.

Worked example: cost per lot on Standard vs Raw Spread

This is an example, not a quote. It uses a hypothetical 1.0-pip spread on EUR/USD for both accounts, so only the commission differs. EUR/USD pip value is $10 per pip per standard lot (100,000 units).

  • Spread cost = 1.0 pip x $10 x 1 lot = $10.00
  • Standard: $10.00 + $0 commission = $10.00 per lot
  • Raw Spread: $10.00 + up to $7.00 commission ($3.50 x 2) = up to $17.00 per lot

In practice a Raw Spread account usually shows a much tighter spread than a Standard account, which is the point of paying commission. Compare the real spread on your instrument before deciding.

Bar chart: Standard spread cost $10.00, Raw Spread spread cost $10.00, Raw commission up to $7.00, Raw total up to $17.00 per lot.
Hypothetical 1.0-pip spread on EUR/USD for both accounts, so only the commission differs.

Commission scales with volume. At up to $7.00 per lot round turn, 0.10 lots costs up to $0.70 (0.10 x $7.00), 0.50 lots costs up to $3.50 (0.50 x $7.00) and 1.00 lot costs up to $7.00.

Bar chart of Raw Spread round-turn commission at up to $7.00 per lot: $0.70 for 0.10 lots, $3.50 for 0.50 lots, $7.00 for 1.00 lot.
Maximum round-turn commission on an Exness Raw Spread account at up to $7.00 per lot.

Swaps (overnight financing) also apply if you hold positions past the daily rollover. They vary by instrument, direction and broker and are shown in the platform's contract specification, so check it before holding a trade overnight. To size positions, try our Pip Calculator and Lot Size Calculator.

Rebates on an Exness account

Exness's partner program pays partners up to 40% of Exness revenue from their referred clients' trades. That is the broker's maximum partner rate, and partner payouts are daily or instant depending on the program. Blocktechpro passes a share of that back to the trader, and the exact share is confirmed at sign-up. You do not receive the full partner rate, and the payout timing above is the broker's partner payout, not a promise of when you are paid. Source: Exness Affiliates.

To register under our partner code, enter ccm34k1you in the Partner code field when you open a new account. The Help Center places that field after the email and password and before the confirmation that you are not a U.S. citizen or resident. Source: Exness Help Center: Registering an Exness account. You can open an Exness account through our link. More detail is in our partner code guide and Exness rebate guide.

If you already have an account, Exness can tell you only your partner's account number, on request through support. The Help Center pages we checked publish no self-service way to change partner, so ask Exness support whether and how it is possible.

How to check before you sign up

  1. Check the CMA's website for Exness's Kenya status rather than relying on a broker's footer alone.
  2. Open the account types and fee pages on the Kenya site and compare them with the figures above, because terms vary by country and change over time.
  3. See which deposit and withdrawal methods are offered to you and what the minimum is for each.
  4. Test on a demo account and read the contract specification, including swaps, for the instruments you trade.

Risk warning

Leveraged forex trading can lose money quickly, and you can lose more than you expect. Rebates do not offset trading losses. Nothing here is financial advice. Read our risk disclaimer and confirm all fees, regulation and terms on Exness's official website before you trade.
